As shares in a private company are held privately and not on a public exchange, these cannot be traded easily. You will need to find a buyer and negotiate a price, after which we can help facilitate the process of transferring the shares.
If you don't know of anyone who wishes to buy the shares from you, it may be worthwhile reaching out to the company whose shares you wish to sell in case they may know of any interested buyers.
In some cases, companies may choose to hold a secondary share trading event which could be another opportunity to sell your shares.
Other liquidity events such as an IPO or acquisition could be other situations where you can sell your shares.
